At least five people have been confirmed dead and ten others injured following a bomb explosion in Kano State today.
Kano State Commissioner of Police, Adamu Ibrahim, confirmed the incident, saying the explosion involved an Explosive Ordnance Disposal, EOD device in a military-grade mortar vehicle.
According to the Commissioner, the affected victims were rushed to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where five were confirmed dead while ten are currently receiving treatment.
As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of the explosion remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
