President Bola Tinubu says his government is delivering on its promise to turn Nigeria into a global agricultural powerhouse.

Speaking in Abuja today at the launch of the Renewed Hope Agricultural Mechanisation Programme, Tinubu said the new reforms are meant to modernize farming and make it more appealing to young Nigerians.

He added that his administration is working with countries like Belarus to train young people in modern farming, machine repair and equipment building, helping them gain useful skills and financial independence.

The president also urged beneficiaries to make good use of the machines. He praised the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security for taking strong steps to address food shortages and keep the system stable.
