President Tinubu Urges Governors to Prioritise People, Let Results Speak

President Bola Tinubu has urged state governors to focus on the needs of the people and ignore distractions, saying that their achievements will speak for them.

Speaking yesterday during a two-day visit to Katsina State, the President advised governors to place citizens at the centre of their programmes, saying their hard work and concrete achievements will answer any criticism.

He made the remarks while commissioning a 24-kilometre Eastern Bypass road and the Katsina Agricultural Mechanised Centre.

The President also emphasised that hunger and poverty are major threats to peace, adding that food security is a priority for his administration.

He assured that the Bank of Agriculture is being revitalised to provide funds for farmers across all levels.
