President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, has fired back at Labour Party’s 2023 vice-presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, over his recent comments on the 2027 elections.
Speaking on a televised programme, Baba-Ahmed had advised President Tinubu not to seek re-election in 2027, claiming Nigerians would demand true democracy.
But in a post on his X handle on Saturday, Sunday Dare dismissed Baba-Ahmed’s comments as “illogical,” “misguided,” and lacking any political substance.
Dare said Baba-Ahmed ignored President Tinubu’s performance and reforms, instead choosing to base his projections on theories he described as disconnected from political reality.
