The organised labour is considering pushing for a new minimum wage of up to N1 Million for Nigerian workers.

This follows the continuous increase of inflation.

President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, says the demand from organised labour would be influenced by the cost of living.

State governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party have renewed their call for state police across the country.

They are also urging the Federal Government to tackle the declining value of the naira.

The governors who met on Monday in Abuja, said the current leadership of the Nigerian Government was almost on the path to becoming like Venezuela.

Nurses from both public and private hospitals in Lagos are protesting against the new guidelines for verification of certificates.

The nurses under the aegis of Naija Nurses Forum expressed displeasure over what they described as oppression.

They are calling on the Federal Government to reopen the verification portal without conditions.
